The SYNCANITE universe is growing and expanding across multiple media! What began with SYNCANITE FOUNDATION: the board game phenomenon from the Ruhr region has reached the next level this year with a successful second campaign on Gamefound!
CRIMSON PROTOCOL completes SYNCANITE FOUNDATION
SYNCANITE FOUNDATION was originally announced with three expansions. CRIMSON PROTOCOL is the first and gives players significantly more influence over the course of the game. In addition to expanding the asymmetric player roles, this expansion introduces variable crisis sequences, among other features.
FLUX – Zugzwang: The first (audio)book based on the epic board game
FLUX – ZUGZWANG combines the intrigue of “Game of Thrones” with the resource-centered power structures of “Dune” in a setting inspired by “Riot Games’ Arcane.” At its heart are two young protagonists who uncover a conspiracy that players would otherwise orchestrate themselves in SYNCANITE FOUNDATION.
The book will be released in both German and English. The same applies to the e-book and audiobook, with the English version narrated by Jeremiah Costello. A music album based on the story is also being composed and will be available in the new year as a digital download as well as a limited-edition vinyl release for collectors.
Errata Pack + new game: IRON FRONT – now on Gamefound!
Alongside an errata pack for SYNCANITE FOUNDATION, development has also begun on a new game: IRON FRONT – THE BATTLE FOR SYNCANIT is a trench-warfare-inspired wargame set in the SYNCANITE universe for 2–4 players. Like all the other products and prototypes mentioned above, it will be presented at the New Releases Showcase (F-035-C) as well as in Hall 3 at Booth N510.
