Honest Quarks Games is looking for booth attendants to help with the first SPIEL. We are a young company from Switzerland, and our first game Earth Gambit will be coming soon. We describe it as “Space-time social adventure with extraterrestrials, hidden identities, time travel, paradoxes, and tough choices”. While the first quick and light version of the game is nearly finished, we will also have a bit longer and more complex prototype version that we would like to playtest.
As a booth attendant, you should know the game’s rules (which are fairly simple), entice people to the booth, be able to pitch the game in 3sec, 20sec, and 2min attention spans, as well as play with visitors in a friendly manner.
Requirements:
- Fluent German and good English.
- Be friendly and patient with all sorts of people. Charming smile is a plus.
- Good explanation skills, but no hardcore board game expertise is required. Bonus if you are space/alien geek (but not really required).
Availability:
We would prefer candidates who can commit for all four days Oct 5 - 8, from 11:00 - 18:00 (including lunch and other short breaks), but would be open for other arrangements as well (partial days, flexible times, etc) - write us with your preferred schedule, and we will see if it can work for us.
Pay:
